QUILLING

Quilling, as you may know, is the beautiful art of paper filigree. Its long history dates back to the 15th Century when the Nuns of Italy curled paper around the bare quill of a bird, thus giving it the name `Quilling`.

The art spread through the rest of Europe and was very popular during the 17th and 18th Centuries when some beautiful works of art  were created. Examples of early quilling can be seen at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, and the Port Sunlight Museum, Ellesmere Port.

A description of our extensive range of products follows. Because only top quality materials are used in the manufacture of our products, we feel confident that both the beginner and experienced quiller alike will find these both easy and satisfying to use.
